Silent but not absent

I have remained silent these past 6 weeks. It seemed like things where happening too fast and too intensely to manage to mark them down before they transformed into something else. Over the past 6 weeks we went through me leaving the country for a while and the dancers rehearsing alone, to the arrival of Spring and a sudden change in atmosphere outside as well as within our bodies and emotions, to doubts and hesitations from some of the performers about whether to continue with the work, to anger about how deep the work goes and how it feels like scratching at wounds, back to softness, and then to excitement. We were joined in the process by a sound artist, an animation artist, a videographer and most notably the well known fashion designer Yasemin Ozeri.
Now we are preparing the final bits to premiere the work in Istanbul 31st May! Please spread the word and stay posted for he upcoming trailer and flyer.
